We need your help! The USPC currently has an established Honor Guard, and would like to add an additional member to our unit; a draft horse. The primary purpose of the Honor Guard is to provide funeral honors for fallen comrades. An Honor Guard may also serve as the “guardians of the colors” by displaying and escorting the national flag on ceremonial occasions at official state functions. So why a draft? The Caisson was established during the WWI time period 1917-1918. Originally, the Caisson was used for 75mm cannons and ammunition. The Caisson was originally equipped with ammunition chests, spare wheels, and tools used for the cannons. Today these have been removed and replaced with the flat deck on which the casket rests, and soon became a symbol for remembering their service and sacrifices in funerals.
The average adoption fee for a draft is $4000.00. The United States Patriot Corps is a registered charity Non-Profit organization in the State of Suth Carolina. The donation can be made via PayPal: unitedstatespatriotcorps@gmail.com or you can donate through our website here.
